Back in 2016, I had been running a retail flower shop for 21 years. I loved the creative side of it and
helping customers brought me joy but other parts were extremely stressful and they were taking a toll.
In June, shortly after I turned 50 I was diagnosed with ER+, PR+, and HER2+ breast cancer.
After the initial shock, I made up my mind I was going to be okay!
After finishing cancer treatments, I began reflecting on my life and evaluating what really mattered to me.
And, I learned that as many as 95% of cancers occur as a result of lifestyle and environmental factors.
